My early blog posts were actually made from Boulder, so it was probably false to call them part of the "Meg in Malibu" series. But, now we're officially in California! Roughly 1,100 miles and 21 hours after leaving Beautiful Boulder (which made my heart hurt), we pulled into Ventura. Okay, okay, so I guess Meg's still not technically in Malibu. But, it's close enough. Tomorrow I plan to head south down the coast to check out potential new digs and familiarize myself with the 'Bu.
The plan is to find something cheap and fabulous right on the beach!
I have been checking out the Los Angeles Craigslist housing category, as well as the Malibu Times for their classified listings.
So far, lots of fabulous, but not so much cheap. Maybe we'll get lucky! ;)
