I am loving stand up paddling right now . . . or at least loving it as much as one can after only two outings.Outing number one was with a rental board, and I had so much fun–especially when we paddled through the pod of dolphins–that I started shopping for a board of my own.
Outing number two came after I found a great stand up paddle board at Becker (which, incidentally, is Malibu's best surf shop).
Wind, rain and rough water have kept me out of the ocean of late, however, so I've been looking for SUP instructional videos on YouTube. I have more to watch, but so far I've found the Naish videos with Dave Kalama to be informative (despite the demonstration by the girl who is paddling in what is, if not a thong, a VERY skimpy bikini).
