Obviously, I'm not posting what I learned in school today quite yet, as I don't actually start class until the end of the month. But, I will be registering for my first term soon, and I have to admit that the prospect of having to pass a course called "Financial Accounting" is a little bit daunting.
My biggest fear about business school is the quantitative requirement. I am definitely stronger in the verbal, as indicated by my GMAT score (though so far, probably not indicated by my blog), and it is with some anxiety that I anticipate the amount of work it's going to take for me to get through finance and economics classes.
So . . . yeah . . . finance, accounting, economics. I'll post again when I've actually made some legitimate headway in preparing for my MBA. Now, it's time for a little leisure reading (better get it all in while I still can)--The Help by Kathryn Stockett is phenomenal!
